About Cat Tales
Have you ever heard of such a thing?! A cat named Black Bird?! Queen Maggie, Black Bird, Amy and David all have one thing in common; they are cats! Each cat tale visits the author’s most memorable feline experiences. Some cats are mischievous, some cats spoiled, but all of the cats in Cat Tales are beloved.

"Queen Maggie:
I love the alliteration! It's a "sweet" story about a lovable, yet demanding feline to which every cat parent can relate.
A Cat Named Black Bird:
I like that it includes repetition which is very effective in children's picture books for language development (call and response, predictable text, wonderful rhythm).
Amy and David:
Wonderful teaching concept (same and different)! Every page teaches rich language, and the pictures bring context."

Awesome alliterations abound in this fun feline focused frolic of a book. This is a perfect read aloud for kids, parents, and Storytime. The rhythm of "A Cat Called Black Bird" sets readers up for a fun call & response. Be ready to read this book over and over again. How can you resist these rambunctious rascals?
Looking forward to more stories about the tenacious tabbies in the author's life.
